Our very own Cori Morris was off this past weekend curling in St. Albert, battling Team World for the Continental Cup. She proudly represented Team North America and they performed so well that the 2011 Team North America set a record of most points won by one team in the history of the Continental Cup. Congratulations Team North America!
Calgary Stampede Rotary Event!
The final numbers are in and the Rotary Club of Calgary raised $325,000 from the fundraising event the FRIDAY team participated in during the Calgary Stampede this summer. $80,000 will be donated to the Food Bank and $245,000 will be invested in other community and international projects.
A big thank you to all those who volunteered. It is great to see the difference that our efforts make!
